We are happy to bring you a video conversation with MMA fighter/ coach and owner of The Academy in Portland, Maine; Jay Jack. Jay is a highly regarded expert in Mixed Martial Arts and self-defense with a particular emphasis on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His many years as a successful professional fighter and coach lend to some entertaining and remarkable insights into human behavior and the modern human’s inability to understand violence. Jay couples this perspective with an additional expertise in dog training (3 Bad Bullies) and the intersection between human and non-human animal behavior.
What follows is a completely unedited and explicit conversation so we hope you will appreciate its laid back, unscripted and honest presentation.
We also would like to thank the band Cruel Hand for allowing us to (poorly) use their song, “One Cold Face” from the album, Lock & Key in this video. You can purchase their music from iTunes. Check out their Facebook page here.
